FAQs

It links protection and auspiciousness to Viṣṇu-centered worship: the Rakṣas corner is sanctified by installing Sāvitrī and Viṣṇu in a shared iconographic form, implying that mantra-power (Sāvitrī) and the preserver deity (Viṣṇu) function together to guard the rite and stabilize the practitioner’s mind.

Bhakti is expressed through upāsanā with clear form-meditation: worshipping Viṣṇu with the classic emblems (conch, discus, mace, lotus) trains remembrance (smaraṇa) and reverence (arcana), making devotion concrete through disciplined ritual attention.

It reflects ritual-prayoga and directional placement (dik-vinyāsa) used in technical worship manuals: assigning deities to specific corners and prescribing iconographic details is a practical application of Vedic ritual science as preserved in the Purāṇic Vedāṅga-style instructions.
