It presents Krishna’s intimate, relational divinity—He is described as the beloved and enchanter of the gopīs—teaching that the Supreme is approached not only as cosmic Lord (Vishnu) but also through loving devotion (prema-bhakti) and remembrance of His names.
By using affectionate epithets (priyaḥ, ānandī, vimohanaḥ), the verse models nāma-smaraṇa and stuti: devotion grows by contemplating the Lord’s sweetness (mādhurya) and His power to attract the heart away from worldly fixation toward divine love.
While not a technical Vedāṅga rule itself, it reflects applied chandas-style devotional verse and the practical discipline of correct recitation (śikṣā) and word-formation awareness (vyākaraṇa) when chanting divine names and compounds like gopī-jana-vimohanaḥ.
