pāṇau pāyasapakvaṃ ca dakṣe haiyaṃgavīnakam | vāme dadhaddivyadigaṃbaro gopīsuto'vatu || 18 ||
Semoga Śrī Kṛṣṇa, putera gopī, berselimutkan busana ilahi laksana langit, melindungi kami: di tangan-Nya payasa (bubur susu manis), di tangan kanan mentega pagi yang segar (haiyaṅgavīna), dan di tangan kiri dadhi (dadih/yogurt suci).
Narada (as a concluding/benedictory verse within the Narada Purana’s discourse tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It is a protective benediction (avatu) invoking Śrī Kṛṣṇa through intimate pastoral offerings—pāyasa, butter, and curd—signifying loving devotion that sanctifies food, senses, and daily life.
Bhakti is shown as personal, affectionate remembrance of the Lord in a relatable form (Gopīsuta). The verse centers on simple offerings and loving visualization rather than abstract speculation, aligning devotion with constant smaraṇa (remembrance).
While not a technical Vedāṅga instruction, it reflects ritual culture around naivedya (food offering) and mantra-style protective prayer—practical devotional application often accompanying Śikṣā/Chandas-based recitation and daily worship.
