Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes disciplined devotional ritual—performing tarpaṇa with the sacred count of 108—assuring that the practitioner receives the previously described spiritual merit (phala) tied to Vaiṣṇava observance.
Bhakti is shown as devotion expressed through regulated practice: a Vaiṣṇava’s repeated, reverent tarpaṇa (done as taught) becomes a means to secure the promised fruits, aligning ritual action with devotion to Viṣṇu.
It highlights ritual precision—especially saṃkhyā (numerical count) in rites—an applied aspect of Vedic ritual discipline, where correct enumeration (108) and repetition (punaḥ) are treated as essential to efficacy.
