Apabila perhimpunan besar itu telah terbentang dan semua liṅga telah dipuja dengan sempurna, Gautama juga, pada waktu tengah hari, melaksanakan pemujaan kepada Śaṅkara (Śiva).
Narada (narrating within the Purana’s dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights collective sacred observance—an assembly where liṅga-worship is completed—and then emphasizes disciplined personal devotion as Gautama performs Śaṅkara-pūjā at the prescribed time.
Bhakti is shown as both communal and personal: the community worships together, and the sage individually offers reverence to Śiva, modeling steady devotion expressed through pūjā.
Ritual discipline regarding kāla (proper timing) is implied—madhyāhna (midday) as an appointed period for worship—reflecting technical attention to procedure and time in Vedic-style rites.
