The Account of Hanumān
चांद्रायण समं ज्ञेयं शम्भोर्नैवेद्यभक्षणम् । भुक्तिवेलेयमधुना तद्वैरस्यं कथांतरात् ॥ १६० ॥
cāṃdrāyaṇa samaṃ jñeyaṃ śambhornaivedyabhakṣaṇam | bhuktiveleyamadhunā tadvairasyaṃ kathāṃtarāt || 160 ||
Ketahuilah bahawa memakan naivedya—hidangan persembahan kepada Śambhu (Śiva)—adalah setara dengan menjalankan tapa Cāndrāyaṇa. Namun sekarang waktunya menjamah makanan; kepahitan perkara itu akan diceritakan kemudian, dalam kisah yang lain.
