The Account of Hanumān
अत्रांतरे हरेः स्कंधमारुरोह महेश्वरः । हर्युत्तमांगं बाहुभ्यां गृहीत्वा संन्यमज्जयत् ॥ १०६ ॥
atrāṃtare hareḥ skaṃdhamāruroha maheśvaraḥ | haryuttamāṃgaṃ bāhubhyāṃ gṛhītvā saṃnyamajjayat || 106 ||
Sementara itu, Mahēśvara memanjat ke bahu Hari; dengan kedua-dua lengannya memegang kepala mulia Hari, lalu menekannya ke bawah dalam pelukan yang kuat.

It highlights the intimate, non-hostile relationship between Maheshvara (Śiva) and Hari (Viṣṇu), pointing to inner unity beyond sectarian division—devotion matures into reverence for the Divine in all revered forms.
By portraying closeness between Śiva and Viṣṇu, the verse supports bhakti that is free from rivalry: a devotee of Hari need not disrespect Śiva (and vice versa), because true devotion recognizes divine concord.
No direct Vedanga technique (like Vyākaraṇa rules, Jyotiṣa calculations, or Śikṣā phonetics) is taught in this line; it functions as a narrative illustration used within the broader instructional setting of Book 1.3.
