Mantra-Māhātmya and Sādhana of Kārtavīryārjuna

Nyāsa, Yantra, Homa, and Dīpa-Vrata

आद्ये ह्युपोष्य नियतो ब्रह्मचारी सपीतकैः । प्रातः स्नात्वा शुद्धभूमौ लिप्तायां गोमयोदकैः ॥ ६८ ॥

ādye hyupoṣya niyato brahmacārī sapītakaiḥ | prātaḥ snātvā śuddhabhūmau liptāyāṃ gomayodakaiḥ || 68 ||

Pada hari pertama, pengamal hendaklah berpuasa menurut disiplin, hidup sebagai brahmacārī (pelajar selibat) dan mengenakan pakaian kuning; pada waktu fajar hendaklah mandi, lalu menyediakan tempat tanah yang suci dengan menyapukan campuran tahi lembu dan air.
