Procedure for Lamp-Offering to Hanumān
गोधूमाश्च तिला माषा मुद्गा वै तंडुलाः क्रमात् । पंचधान्यमिदं प्रोक्तं नित्यदीपं तु मारुतेः ॥ ७ ॥
godhūmāśca tilā māṣā mudgā vai taṃḍulāḥ kramāt | paṃcadhānyamidaṃ proktaṃ nityadīpaṃ tu māruteḥ || 7 ||
Gandum, bijan, kacang hitam (māṣa), kacang hijau (mudga), dan beras—menurut tertibnya—dinyatakan sebagai lima bijirin; dan (persembahan ini) ditetapkan untuk memelihara pelita abadi Maruti (Hanuman).
