गगनं ज्वलनः साक्षी मर्कटेति द्वयं ततः । तोयं शशेषे मकरे परिमुंचति मुंचति ॥ १७७ ॥
gaganaṃ jvalanaḥ sākṣī markaṭeti dvayaṃ tataḥ | toyaṃ śaśeṣe makare parimuṃcati muṃcati || 177 ||
“Langit”, “api”, “saksi”, dan “monyet”—kemudian dinyatakan sebagai sepasang (dua bentuk/istilah). Demikian juga bagi “air”: apabila kata itu disertai bunyi “śa” dan bersama “makara”, ia muncul sebagai “parimuñcati” dan “muñcati”
