The Description of the Worship of Rāma and Others
Rāmādi-pūjā-vidhāna
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Vedanga/ritual-technical section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It states that disciplined, regular recitation of a Rāma-praise text functions as a complete support to Rāma-pūjā, yielding ‘sarva-siddhi’—the full range of desired spiritual and worldly attainments—when performed with niyama (rule-bound devotion).
It frames bhakti as steady practice: praising and remembering Rāma through regulated recitation is presented as a direct devotional limb that perfects worship, emphasizing consistency (niyata) over occasional effort.
It highlights ritual discipline (niyama) and the technical efficacy of recitation/japa as a structured practice—aligned with Vedanga-style attention to correct, regular performance in worship.
