Sanatkumara (teaching Narada the prescribed ritual method)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that worship begins with saṅkalpa (inner resolve) and proceeds in an ordered way—honoring the deity at the base and then sanctifying the entire worship-field (lotus/directions) through systematic limb-worship (ṣaḍaṅga), making devotion both inward (intention) and outward (ritual form).
Bhakti here is expressed as disciplined reverence: the devotee mentally establishes the deity through saṅkalpa and then offers careful, rule-based worship, showing that devotion in the Narada Purana is heartfelt yet guided by vidhi (proper procedure).
It highlights practical ritual science—mantra-nyāsa/anga-pūjā and spatial arrangement of worship (directional petals), reflecting technical precision associated with Vedic ritual method and its procedural disciplines.
