pātālagatipradānte yantramarddana īrayet | ghorāṭṭahāsahasitaviśvāvāsapadaṃ tataḥ || 185 ||
Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual context, in dialogue tradition with Sanatkumara)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It emphasizes correct mantra-sequencing: specific padas are to be recited in an ordained order so the rite becomes precise, controlled, and effective rather than random or merely verbal.
Even in technical rites, Bhakti is implied through disciplined recitation and reverent adherence to the prescribed mantra order—treating the mantra as sacred speech rather than casual sound.
It reflects procedural mantra-application (prayoga) and careful use of mantra-padas—aligned with Śikṣā (correct recitation) and the broader technical tradition of ritual manuals.
