Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that devotion (bhakti) is expressed through precise ritual attention: after establishing sacred presence via vyāpaka-nyāsa, the devotee honors Vishnu’s Śrīvatsa—an emblem of divine auspiciousness and intimate association with the Lord’s heart.
Bhakti here is not abstract; it is enacted through reverent, step-by-step worship—performing nyāsa and then offering focused veneration to Vishnu’s sacred marks, showing loving attentiveness to the deity’s form.
Ritual procedure and mantra-application are emphasized—especially nyāsa (mantra placement) and anga/avayava-based worship, reflecting technical liturgical discipline aligned with Vedic auxiliary sciences used in correct recitation and ritual performance.
