Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 108

Mahāviṣṇu-Mantras: Aṣṭākṣarī, Sudarśana-Astra, Nyāsa Systems, Āvaraṇa-Pūjā, and Prayogas

इत्थं सिद्धे मनौ मत्री प्रयोगान्पूर्ववञ्चरेत् । तारो हृद्भगवान् ङेंतो वराहेति ततः परम् ॥ १०८ ॥

itthaṃ siddhe manau matrī prayogānpūrvavañcaret | tāro hṛdbhagavān ṅeṃto varāheti tataḥ param || 108 ||

Demikianlah, apabila mantra telah disempurnakan, pengamal hendaklah meneruskan aplikasi menurut tertib yang telah ditetapkan dahulu: mula-mula suku kata ‘tāra’ (Oṃ), kemudian rumus ‘hṛt’ (hati), kemudian ‘bhagavān’, kemudian unsur penutup ‘ṅeṃta’, dan sesudah itu ‘varāha’ (nama/wujud Varāha).
