Śeṣoditya-Sūrya-nyāsa, Soma-sādhana, Graha-pūjā, and Bhauma-vrata-vidhi
ऋतुलक्षं जपेन्मंत्रं पायसेन ससर्पिषा । जुहुयात्तद्दशांशेन पीठे सोमांतपूजिते ॥ ५६ ॥
ṛtulakṣaṃ japenmaṃtraṃ pāyasena sasarpiṣā | juhuyāttaddaśāṃśena pīṭhe somāṃtapūjite || 56 ||
Hendaklah mengulang japa mantra menurut bilangan yang ditetapkan sebagai “lakh bermusim”, kemudian mempersembahkan homa dengan pāyasa (bubur susu) bercampur ghee. Homa itu dilakukan sebanyak sepersepuluh daripada kiraan japa, di atas pīṭha/altar yang telah dipuja hingga sempurna menurut upacara Soma.
