The Explanation of Sandhyā and Related Daily Observances

Saṅdhyā-ādi Nitya-karma-Vidhi

गुरुपङिक्तं च सन्तर्प्य साङ्गं सावरणं तथा । सायुधं वैनतेयं सन्तर्पयामीति तर्पयेत् ॥ ७५ ॥

gurupaṅiktaṃ ca santarpya sāṅgaṃ sāvaraṇaṃ tathā | sāyudhaṃ vainateyaṃ santarpayāmīti tarpayet || 75 ||

Setelah menyenangkan pula barisan para guru (guru-paṅkti) dengan tarpaṇa—beserta segala angganya, para pengiringnya, dan juga senjatanya—hendaklah ia mempersembahkan libasi sambil mengucap: “Aku memuaskan Vainateya (Garuḍa).”
