The Explanation of Sandhyā and Related Daily Observances

Saṅdhyā-ādi Nitya-karma-Vidhi

किवाग्निरिति मंत्रैणाभिमन्त्र्य पञ्चमन्त्रकैः । क्रमात्तत्पुरुषाघोरसद्योजातादिनामभिः ॥ ५७ ॥

kivāgniriti maṃtraiṇābhimantrya pañcamantrakaiḥ | kramāttatpuruṣāghorasadyojātādināmabhiḥ || 57 ||

Setelah mengabhimantra (mensucikan) dengan mantra yang bermula “kivāgnir…”, hendaklah kemudian, menurut tertibnya, melakukan penyucian dengan lima mantra—yang dinamai Tatpuruṣa, Aghora, Sadyojāta, dan yang lain-lain.
