Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 64

Mantraśodhana, Dīkṣā-krama, Guru-Pādukā, Ajapā-Haṃsa, and Ṣaṭcakra-Kuṇḍalinī Sādhana

मायामृत्युमहापाशाद्विमुक्तोऽस्मि शिवोऽस्मि वः । इति स्तुत्वा ततः सर्व गुरवे विनिवेदयेत् ॥ ६४ ॥

māyāmṛtyumahāpāśādvimukto'smi śivo'smi vaḥ | iti stutvā tataḥ sarva gurave vinivedayet || 64 ||

“Aku telah terbebas daripada jerat besar maya dan maut; aku menjadi yang membawa keberkatan (Śiva) bagi kamu.” Setelah memuji demikian, hendaklah seseorang menyerahkan segala-galanya kepada Guru.
