Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It declares that simply reciting or listening to the forthcoming ancient narrative is itself a purifying sādhana, capable of destroying accumulated pāpa through śravaṇa and pāṭha.
By emphasizing attentive listening and recitation of sacred accounts, it supports bhakti’s core practice of śravaṇam—receiving divine teachings with faith—which purifies the heart and strengthens devotion.
It highlights the disciplined practice of pāṭha (correct recitation) and śravaṇa (formal listening), aligning with śikṣā (phonetics) and vyākaraṇa (clarity of words) as supportive tools for preserving and transmitting sacred text.
