Gṛhastha-nitya-karman: Śauca, Sandhyā-vidhi, Pañca-yajña, and Āśrama-krama
शिरः प्रावृत्य वस्त्रेण ह्यंतर्द्धाय तृणैर्महीम् । वहन्काष्टं करेणैकं तावन्मौनी भवेद्द्विजः ॥ ४ ॥
śiraḥ prāvṛtya vastreṇa hyaṃtarddhāya tṛṇairmahīm | vahankāṣṭaṃ kareṇaikaṃ tāvanmaunī bhaveddvijaḥ || 4 ||
Dengan menutup kepala memakai kain, menutupi tanah dengan rumput, serta memegang sebatang kayu pada satu tangan—selama itu hendaklah si dvija (dua kali lahir) berpegang pada mauna, yakni berdiam diri.
