Dengan bhakti, hendaklah diberikan kepada seorang brāhmaṇa yang tekun memuja Vāmana suatu hidangan nasi bercampur dadih, disertai buah kelapa, bersama dakṣiṇā (honorarium) yang ditetapkan.
Narada (teaching in dialogue context with Sanatkumara tradition)
Vrata: Vāmana-vrata (contextual)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It teaches that devotion (bhakti) is expressed through disciplined giving—offering sanctified food and dakṣiṇā to a worthy recipient connected to Vishnu’s worship, thereby aligning charity with sacred intention.
Bhakti is shown as practical service: giving with reverence to a devotee of Vāmana, not merely donating materially, but honoring Vishnu through the devotee and the act of offering.
It reflects Kalpa-style ritual discipline: specifying the offering (dadhyanna, coconut) and the rule of dakṣiṇā and qualified recipient (vipra devoted to Vāmana-arcana), which are key procedural elements of Vedic ritual practice.
