Bhāgīratha’s Bringing of the Gaṅgā

कपर्दिनो जटास्रस्ता गङ्गा लोकैकपाविनी । पावयन्ती जगत्सर्वमन्वगच्छद्भगीरथम् ॥ १०६ ॥

kapardino jaṭāsrastā gaṅgā lokaikapāvinī | pāvayantī jagatsarvamanvagacchadbhagīratham || 106 ||

Dari jata Kapardin (Śiva), Gaṅgā—penyuci tunggal segala alam—mengalir keluar; menyucikan seluruh jagat, ia mengikuti Bhagīratha.
