Pāpa-bheda, Naraka-yātanā, Mahāpātaka-vicāra, Atonement Limits, Daśa-vidhā Bhakti, and Gaṅgā as Final Remedy

तस्माद्विष्णुं शिवं वापि समं बुद्धा समर्चय । भेदकृद्दुःखमाप्नोति इह लोके परत्र च ॥ १५९ ॥

tasmādviṣṇuṃ śivaṃ vāpi samaṃ buddhā samarcaya | bhedakṛdduḥkhamāpnoti iha loke paratra ca || 159 ||

Oleh itu, dengan memahami bahawa Viṣṇu dan Śiva adalah setara, hendaklah disembah dengan penuh hormat. Tetapi sesiapa yang menimbulkan perpecahan akan memperoleh penderitaan—di dunia ini dan di alam kemudian.
