शोध्यं चंद्राद्गते पाते तत्सूयगतिताडितम् । चंद्रभुक्त्या हृतं भानौ लिप्तादिशशिवत्फलम् ॥ १८० ॥
śodhyaṃ caṃdrādgate pāte tatsūyagatitāḍitam | caṃdrabhuktyā hṛtaṃ bhānau liptādiśaśivatphalam || 180 ||
Apabila pāta bulan telah berlalu, baki yang perlu dibetulkan hendaklah didarab dengan kadar gerak Matahari. Kemudian, bahagikan dengan lengkok yang telah ditempuh Bulan (candra-bhukti); maka terhasillah nilai dalam lipta dan unit-unit lain, memberikan hasil yang dikehendaki.
