Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa
तथा यङ्लुकि बोभवीति च पठ्यते । पुत्रीयतीत्यात्मनीच्छायां तथाचारेऽपि नारद । अनुदात्तञितो धातोः क्रियाविनिमये तथा ॥ ८० ॥
tathā yaṅluki bobhavīti ca paṭhyate | putrīyatītyātmanīcchāyāṃ tathācāre'pi nārada | anudāttañito dhātoḥ kriyāvinimaye tathā || 80 ||
Demikian juga, apabila imbuhan yaṅ digugurkan (yaṅ-luk), bentuk “bobhavīti” turut dibaca. Dan “putrīyati” digunakan dalam erti keinginan diri sendiri (ingin memperoleh seorang putera); demikian pula dalam amalan kebiasaan, wahai Nārada. Begitu juga, bagi akar kata kerja yang bertanda anudātta dan huruf penunjuk Ñ (anudātta-Ñit), berlaku pertukaran tindakan (kriyā-vinimaya).
