Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa
तृतीया सहयोगे स्यात्कुत्सितेंऽगे विशेषणे । काले भावे सप्तमी स्यादेतैर्योगे च षष्ठ्यपि ॥ १४ ॥
tṛtīyā sahayoge syātkutsiteṃ'ge viśeṣaṇe | kāle bhāve saptamī syādetairyoge ca ṣaṣṭhyapi || 14 ||
Vibhakti ketiga (instrumental) digunakan untuk menyatakan kebersamaan atau pergaulan. Ia juga digunakan apabila menyebut anggota tubuh yang hina, dan apabila kata sifat (viśeṣaṇa) menerangkan anggota tersebut. Vibhakti ketujuh (lokatif) digunakan untuk menunjukkan waktu serta keadaan; dan dalam binaan yang seumpamanya, vibhakti keenam (genitif) juga boleh digunakan.
