गेति गेयं विदुः प्राज्ञा धेति कारुप्रवादनम् । वेति वाद्यस्य संज्ञेयं गंधर्वस्य प्ररोचनम् ॥ ५८ ॥

geti geyaṃ viduḥ prājñā dheti kārupravādanam | veti vādyasya saṃjñeyaṃ gaṃdharvasya prarocanam || 58 ||

Orang bijaksana mengetahui bahawa ‘geti’ menandakan apa yang harus dinyanyikan; ‘dheti’ menandakan persembahan seni yang mahir; dan ‘veti’ hendaklah difahami sebagai sebutan bagi muzik alat—semuanya ini ialah unsur yang menyenangkan dalam Gandharva (ilmu muzik dan persembahan).
