Suta (narrating/summary register typical of Anukramanika portions)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes that dharmic acts like dāna are not random; their spiritual efficacy is strengthened when performed with proper kāla (timing) and according to tithi and month-specific prescriptions.
By highlighting orderly, time-conscious religious practice, it supports bhakti through disciplined observance—charity and vows done at prescribed times become offerings that stabilize devotional life.
Kalā/astronomical time-reckoning (Jyotiṣa Vedāṅga) is implied: months like Caitra and lunar tithis are used to schedule dāna and observances accurately.
