The Outline (Anukramaṇī) of the Vāyavīya (Vāyu) Purāṇa
नियमेन हविष्याशी स रुद्रो नात्र संशयः । यश्चानुक्रमणीमेतां श्रृणोति श्रावयेत्तथा ॥ १९ ॥
niyamena haviṣyāśī sa rudro nātra saṃśayaḥ | yaścānukramaṇīmetāṃ śrṛṇoti śrāvayettathā || 19 ||
Sesiapa yang dengan disiplin mematuhi niyama dan hidup dengan makanan haviṣya, maka ia menjadi seumpama Rudra—tiada syak lagi. Dan sesiapa yang mendengar Anukramaṇikā ini, atau menyuruhnya dibacakan untuk orang lain, turut memperoleh pahala yang sama.
