The Outline (Anukramaṇī) of the Viṣṇu Purāṇa
यश्च विष्णुपुराणस्य समनुक्रमणीं द्विज । कथयेच्छृणुयाद्वापि स पुराणफलं लभेत् ॥ २४ ॥
yaśca viṣṇupurāṇasya samanukramaṇīṃ dvija | kathayecchṛṇuyādvāpi sa purāṇaphalaṃ labhet || 24 ||
Wahai yang dua kali lahir (brāhmaṇa), sesiapa yang melagukan bacaan atau sekadar mendengar sinopsis tersusun (anukramaṇī) bagi Viṣṇu Purāṇa, akan memperoleh sepenuhnya pahala rohani yang datang daripada Purāṇa itu.
