Narada (teaching in a vrata/ritual instruction context within the Purva Bhaga)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes that a vow (vrata) is fulfilled through orderly worship—offering pure, auspicious substances with mantra—and only then concluding with sincere prayer, uniting outer rite with inner devotion.
Bhakti here appears as disciplined devotion: the devotee worships with reverence and correct offerings, then personally prays (saṃprārthayet), showing that heartfelt supplication crowns the ritual.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) in practice—selection of worship materials, mantra-based worship, and the correct sequence of actions in vrata-vidhi.
