Sanatkumara
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches a dharmic daily act—offering arghya to Sūrya—as a means of honoring and sustaining one’s obligations to the Devas, Ṛṣis, and Pitṛs through prescribed Vedic procedure.
By directing the practitioner to worship Sūrya with reverence and mantra, it frames devotion as disciplined upāsanā—bhakti expressed through faithful, scripturally-aligned ritual action.
It emphasizes śākhā-specific application of mantras—an applied aspect of Vedic transmission tied to Śikṣā (proper recitation) and Kalpa (ritual procedure).
