सर्वतो विभवं प्राप्य मोदते देववच्चिरम् । ऊर्ज्जे कृष्णादिकेऽष्टम्यां करकाख्यं व्रतं स्मृतम् ॥ ७८ ॥
sarvato vibhavaṃ prāpya modate devavacciram | ūrjje kṛṣṇādike'ṣṭamyāṃ karakākhyaṃ vrataṃ smṛtam || 78 ||
Dengan memperoleh kemakmuran dan wibawa dari segala arah, seseorang bersukacita lama seperti para dewa. Pada bulan Ūrja, pada hari kelapan (Aṣṭamī) dalam paruh gelap, nazar yang dikenang sebagai Karaka-vrata ditetapkan untuk diamalkan.
