द्वादशमासेषु अष्टमी-व्रत-कथनम्
Account of the Aṣṭamī Vow Across the Twelve Months
शयनं च प्रदातव्यं यथाशक्ति द्विजोत्तम । दशमेऽह्नि ततो मूर्तिं सद्रव्यां गुरवेऽर्पयेत् ॥ २४ ॥
śayanaṃ ca pradātavyaṃ yathāśakti dvijottama | daśame'hni tato mūrtiṃ sadravyāṃ gurave'rpayet || 24 ||
Wahai yang terbaik antara kaum dwija, hendaklah juga didermakan sebuah tempat tidur menurut kemampuan. Kemudian pada hari kesepuluh, persembahkan kepada Guru sebuah mūrti (arca suci) beserta harta yang sesuai.
