It functions as a catalog of renowned tīrthas and īśvara-shrines, highlighting tīrtha-yātrā (pilgrimage) as a purifying, merit-producing practice preserved in the Purāṇic tradition.
By naming celebrated shrines (Hanūmateśvara, Rāmeśvara, Someśvara, Piṅgaleśvara), the verse directs devotion into concrete acts—darśana, worship, and pilgrimage—supporting bhakti through sacred geography and remembrance.
Primarily Kalpa in its Purāṇic/Smārta application: the practical tradition of tīrtha-yātrā and shrine-worship (rules of pilgrimage, bathing, and offerings), rather than technical Śikṣā or Vyākaraṇa.
