The Exposition of the Anukramaṇī (Index/Summary) of the Liṅga Purāṇa
ततश्च विस्तरात्सर्गस्त्रिपुराख्यानकं तथा । लिंगप्रतिष्ठा च ततः पशुपाशविमोक्षणम् ॥ ८ ॥
tataśca vistarātsargastripurākhyānakaṃ tathā | liṃgapratiṣṭhā ca tataḥ paśupāśavimokṣaṇam || 8 ||
Kemudian dihuraikan penciptaan dengan lebih terperinci, serta kisah Tripura. Sesudah itu disebut penegakan (pentahbisan) Śiva-liṅga, dan kemudian pembebasan Paśu daripada ikatan (pāśa).
