Matsya Purana — The Strategy to Defeat Tāraka: Pārvatī’s Birth, Shloka 76

ओंकारवक्त्रा गायत्री त्वमिति ब्रह्मवादिभिः आक्रान्तिरूर्जिताकारा राजभिश्च महाभुजैः //

oṃkāravaktrā gāyatrī tvamiti brahmavādibhiḥ ākrāntirūrjitākārā rājabhiśca mahābhujaiḥ //

Wahai Gāyatrī, wajahmu sendiri ialah suku kata suci Oṁ—demikian para pengulas Brahman memaklumkan tentangmu. Dan para raja yang berlengan perkasa juga memuji engkau sebagai Yang berkuasa, menang dan teguh dalam kekuatan serta rupa.
