Despair is not endorsed as an exit; the narrative valorizes preservation of life and shows compassion as divine: the Goddess intervenes to stop self-harm and redirect destiny.
Not sarga/pratisarga; it is Vamśānucarita with a strong devatā-anugraha (divine grace) motif, typical of Purāṇic didactic storytelling.
Satī as ‘truth’ halts the self-negating impulse: satya stabilizes prāṇa and mind. The Goddess’ restraint signifies the inner dharmic force that prevents collapse and turns suffering into a path.
