Adhyaya 62 — The Fire-God Enters the Brahmin Youth; Varuthini’s Love-Sickness and Kali’s Disguise
मार्कण्डेय उवाच आत्मप्रभावेण ततस्तस्य रूपं द्विजन्मनः ।
कृत्वा चचार यत्रास्ते निषण्णा सा वरूथिनी ॥
mārkaṇḍeya uvāca ātmaprabhāveṇa tataḥ tasya rūpaṃ dvijanmanaḥ | kṛtvā cacāra yatrāste niṣaṇṇā sā varūthinī ||
Mārkaṇḍeya berkata: Kemudian, dengan kuasanya sendiri, dia mengambil rupa lelaki dwija (dua kali lahir) itu lalu pergi ke tempat Varūthinī sedang duduk.
