Adhyaya 23Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati

ऊचतुर्नृपतेः पुत्रं किञ्चित् प्रणयकोपितौ ।

ऋतध्वज ! न सन्देहो यथैवाह भवानिदम् ॥

ūcatur nṛpateḥ putraṃ kiñcit praṇayakopitau / ṛtadhvaja ! na sandeho yathaivāha bhavān idam

“Kedua-duanya, sedikit marah dalam kasih, berkata kepada putera raja: ‘Wahai Ṛtadhvaja, tiada keraguan—sebagaimana yang engkau katakan itu.’”
