Adhyaya 15Karmic Retribution: Rebirths After Naraka and the King’s Compassion in Hell

आसवं चोरयित्वा तु तित्तिरित्वमवाप्नुयात् ।

अयो हृत्वा तु पापात्मा वायसः सम्प्रजायते ॥

āsavaṃ corayitvā tu tittiritvam avāpnuyāt | ayo hṛtvā tu pāpātmā vāyasaḥ samprajāyate

Sesiapa yang mencuri āsava (arak yang diperam/ditapai) akan mencapai keadaan sebagai burung pegar (partridge). Tetapi orang berdosa yang mencuri besi akan lahir sebagai gagak.
