एष विग्रहवान् धर्म एष वीर्यवर्तां वर: । एष बुद्धपबाधिको लोके तपसां च परायणम्,ये मूर्तिमान धर्म हैं तथा पराक्रमी पुरुषोंमें श्रेष्ठ हैं। इस जगत्में ये सबसे बढ़कर बुद्धिमान् और तपस्याके परम आश्रय हैं। ये नाना प्रकारके ऐसे अस्त्रोंको जानते हैं, जिन्हें इस चराचर त्रिलोकीमें दूसरा मनुष्य न तो जानता है और न कभी जान सकेगा
eṣa vigrahavān dharma eṣa vīryavartāṁ varaḥ | eṣa buddhapabādhiko loke tapasāṁ ca parāyaṇam ||
Arjuna berkata: “Inilah Dharma yang menjelma; inilah yang terunggul antara para pahlawan. Di dunia ini dialah yang paling tinggi kebijaksanaan pertimbangannya, dan tempat bersandar yang tertinggi bagi para pertapa serta laku tapa.”
