Akṣa-hṛdaya-dāna and Phalāśruti of the Nalopākhyāna (अक्षहृदयदानम् / नलोपाख्यान-फलश्रुतिः)
सौहार्द चापि मे त्वत्तो न कदाचित् प्रहास्यति । पुष्कर त्वं हि मे भ्राता संजीव शरद: शतम्,तेरे प्रति जो मेरा सौहार्द रहा है, वह कभी मेरे हृदयसे दूर नहीं होगा। पुष्कर! तू मेरा भाई है, जा, सौ वर्षोतक जीवित रह”
sauhārdaṃ cāpi me tvatto na kadācit prahāsyati | puṣkara tvaṃ hi me bhrātā saṃjīva śaradaḥ śatam ||
“Ikatan muhibahku terhadapmu tidak akan pernah pudar dari hatiku. Puṣkara, engkau benar-benar saudaraku—pergilah, dan hiduplah seratus musim luruh.”
बृहदश्चव उवाच
Enduring goodwill and kinship should not be discarded even after conflict; the speaker affirms an unbroken bond and offers a life-blessing, modeling reconciliation and magnanimity.
Bṛhadaśva addresses Puṣkara directly, assuring him that his affection will never diminish and blessing him to live a full lifespan—signaling closure of hostility and restoration of fraternal ties.
