Transliteration

vasundharāṃ tu yo dadyād dvijāya vidurātmane

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya berkata: “Sesiapa yang sanggup menghadiahkan bumi itu sendiri—tanah dan segala kekayaannya—kepada seorang brāhmaṇa yang layak, berdisiplin dan berjiwa tajam pertimbangan…”
