Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः

युगादौ तव वार्ष्णेय नाभिपडझ्मादजायत । ब्रह्मा चराचरगुरुर्यस्येदे सकल॑ जगत्‌,वार्ष्णेय! सृष्टिके प्रारम्भकालमें आपके नाभि-कमलसे चराचरगुरु ब्रह्मा उत्पन्न हुए, जिनका रचा हुआ यह सम्पूर्ण जगत्‌ है

yugādau tava vārṣṇeya nābhi-padsmād ajāyata | brahmā carācara-gurur yasyedaṁ sakalaṁ jagat ||

Arjuna berkata: “Wahai Vārṣṇeya, pada permulaan zaman, daripada teratai di pusatmu lahirlah Brahmā, guru bagi segala yang bergerak dan yang tidak bergerak. Seluruh alam semesta ini ialah ciptaan Brahmā itu.”
