Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः

एवं क्लेशै: सुबहुभि: क्लिश्यमाना सुदु:ःखिता । निवसाम्यार्यया हीना कृष्ण धौम्यपुर:सरा,परंतु आज मैं इन सबके होते हुए भी अनेक प्रकारके क्लेश भोगती और अत्यन्त दुःखमें डूबी रहकर अपनी सास कुन्तीसे अलग हो धौम्यजीको आगे रखकर वनमें निवास करती हूँ

evaṁ kleśaiḥ subahubhiḥ kliśyamānā suduḥkhitā | nivasāmy āryayā hīnā kṛṣṇa dhaumyapuraḥsarā ||

Demikianlah, dihimpit pelbagai kesusahan dan tenggelam dalam dukacita yang mendalam, aku tinggal di rimba—tanpa bonda mertua yang mulia (Kuntī). Wahai Kṛṣṇā, dengan Dhaumya di hadapan, aku meneruskan hidup buangan ini.
