Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः

तत्राप्यासादयामासुर्बक॑ नाम महाबलम्‌ | पुरुषादं प्रतिभयं हिडिम्बेनैव सम्मितम्‌,वहाँ जानेपर भी इन्हें नरभक्षी राक्षस महाबली बकासुर मिला। वह भी हिडिम्बके ही समान भयंकर था

tatrāpy āsādayāmāsur bakaṃ nāma mahābalam | puruṣādaṃ pratibhayaṃ hiḍimbenāiva sammitam ||

Di sana juga mereka berhadapan dengan rākṣasa yang sangat kuat bernama Baka—pemakan manusia, menggerunkan rupanya, setanding dahsyatnya dengan Hiḍimba.
