Śara-śayyā-sthita-bhīṣma-saṃvāda-prastāvaḥ

The Prelude to Questioning Bhīṣma on the Bed of Arrows

भीष्म उवाच दाहो मोह: श्रमश्चैव क्लमो ग्लानिस्तथा रुजा । तव प्रसादाद्‌ वार्ष्णेय सद्यः प्रतिगतानि मे,भीष्मजी बोले--वृष्णिनन्दन! आपकी कृपासे मेरे शरीरकी जलन, मनका मोह, थकावट, विकलता, ग्लानि तथा रोग--ये सब तत्काल दूर हो गये थे

bhīṣma uvāca | dāho mohaḥ śramaś caiva klamo glānis tathā rujā | tava prasādād vārṣṇeya sadyaḥ pratigatāni me ||

Bhīṣma berkata: “Wahai keturunan Vṛṣṇi, dengan rahmatmu, rasa perih yang membakar, kekeliruan batin, keletihan, kelesuan, dukacita, dan penyakit tubuh—semuanya telah lenyap daripadaku serta-merta.”
