ऋषिसमागमः — युधिष्ठिरस्य शोकवर्णनम्

तेडभिगम्य महात्मान: पूजिताश्न यथाविधि । आसनेषु महाहेंषु विविशुस्ते महर्षय:,वे महात्मा महर्षि वहाँ पहुँचकर विधिपूर्वक पूजित हो राजाके दिये हुए बहुमूल्य आसनोंपर विराजमान हुए
teḍabhigamya mahātmānaḥ pūjitāś ca yathāvidhi | āsaneṣu mahārheṣu viviśus te maharṣayaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Setelah menghampiri para resi yang berhati luhur itu, dan setelah memuliakan mereka menurut adat yang ditetapkan, para resi pun mengambil tempat duduk pada singgahsana yang amat bernilai yang telah dipersembahkan oleh raja. Adegan ini menegaskan tertib etika dalam menyambut tetamu—menghormati yang layak dihormati, melaksanakan tata upacara dengan benar, dan memelihara dharma melalui penerimaan yang penuh takzim.
